Hi all,
My EAD(OPT) expires on January. I filled I765 along I 485 on July and its is still pending. I raised SR twice and it did now work. Is there anyway to expedite the process for EAD ?
Thanks,

Didn;t you ask the same question in another thread? Answer will be the same. No option to expedite as this is your first EAD application based on 485 and not a renewal.

Also, the 90 day compliance rule no longer applies. That was only for renewals and even that rule is gone now due to uscis extending pending appready approved EAD's for 180 days based on pending new application.

Hi aaa69, I am sorry to hear that you are waiting for your EAD approval and its almost 5 months since you applied. Have you tried contacting your local congressman/woman's office - I believe you should contact the district congressman/woman where you live. Check with your postal zipcode to find who is your representative. They will be able to get in touch with USCIS on your behalf and that might help speed things up a little bit in your case.
I know how frustrating it can be to feel helplessly waiting but we are all going through the same situation one way or the other.. Hope this info helps!

Was there any help from the congressman office? I will be in the same situation, as my OPT is getting expired soon and I don't have my I-765 yet. I would appreciate if you can share your experience.

I wanted to contact congressman but I got he approval. It would be helpful to contact them if your case is outside processing time or having urgent situation!
