to minus:

I am actually planning to go to the cancelled interview anyway cause I have heard few people got denied because they did not show up and NBC did not actually communicate to the local office that it was cancelled. I am planning to make an infopass for the same day so if the interview is actually cancelled maybe I can talk to someone and ask to schedule an interview.

This system is so fucked up! I was so happy when I received the interview notice and so upset when it was cancelled the day after! :-(

Thank you... I never understood why it was delayed but I'm not complaining if I get done with this process in the next couple of months :)

Hello all

I am pleased to say that my journey to this Green Card is finally coming to an end.

I attended the interview on 19th Jan at the San Jose local office.

They made it a family interview, all together, instead of individual interview. I had a very polite and nice officer to escort us in and finished the interview in about 45 mins. He was a tall white guy. I don't exactly remember his name.

It all felt like a formality. He questioned us about the details in the I-485, travel history and marriage related details. It was a fun interview and he didn't ask for many documents. Passport, EADs and latest I797s. That's it!

In the end, he mentioned that all looks good and he shall be issuing the green card later in the day. I was surprised and happily shocked to learn this then and there.

Later in the day I got my online statuses updated and the card was put into production. My case on tracker is updated with details.

Hopefully I shall be getting Green Cards in mail in next few days!

Thanks to this amazing community and all your strong folks out there, it would have never been easier to deal with this without this reassurance!

Case transferred to NBC from Nebraska on 11/15/2017. No news yet after that except a courtesy letter that they will need fresh Passport size photos for the interview. Waiting for an Interview date.

After almost 400 days of waiting, we went to local office (OK) for interview.
Our officer was an elegant lady and very nice. Not many questions, She explained why we needed interview since our marriage was fresh.(within a year). Even with that, we were only asked how we met. y/n questions on 485, Medicals(expired), Sup J, EVL, we also handed over tax returns.
I basically handed over document she was about to ask. She was like "I was about to ask you for that!"
She didn't say approved on spot but said she would review and see if visa is available.
I told her we filed under ROW and it is current now but she ignored what I said.
