I have noticed the following changes till date,

1. The most recent update in my USCIS case status online is Dec 1, 2017. However, the change is same as Nov 14 update.

"On November 14, 2017, we transferred your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number SRC179051xxxx, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case."

2. I have called the customer service center and automated response says cases transferred to Mesquite, TX.

3. As usual the only physical notice received from TSC based on Nov 9 message says files moved to NBC

Hi All,

My spouse has only Passport Identification. Not any other identification card.. Is there any problem for biometric?

Does she need the other identification as well?

Regards,
Shann

My case got transferred on November 28 and then again on December 2 ( today). I still have not received any paper notice because it all happened this week. However I called and it says the same: transferred to mesquite Tx. Does not make any sense at all. I did not even know there was an office there... so lost. Someone please help me understand!

This S...t is getting more and more weird! I just checked my USCIS portal and the last update is Dec 1st, saying the same thing as the original transfer notice on Nov 15. I predict just like you guys, if I call the hotline it will say transfer to Mesquite.
I draw the conclusion that this hotline notice is just a glitch in the system and we should just rely on the paper notice received and wait for interviews. Also, for neither the transfer to Vermont, nor this latest transfer to Mesquite I did not receive a text/email notification, and only the online portal's last update date changed.
Now my question is that, is there anybody from early November Vermont transfers that has got their interview letter?

You will soon receive a paper notice that mentions your case transfer to NBC ( like all of us here). Just simply disregard the hotline transfer notice and wait for your interview letter.

Then, the hotline transfer to VSC or Mesquite is most probably nothing.

Yep
What I think is different service centers may access cases online for some purpose. At least nothing to worry about if there is not an actual transfer notice from NBC.

Have you received the online transfer to Texas notice? Many of us have seen another transfer (only online) and when we call the hotline it says transfer to Texas Service Center! A meaningless circle of TSC to NBC to VSC to TSC!!

Yes, I called the hotline two days ago and it said the case is transferred to Mesquite in Texas. However, the date of transfer is same as before! I don't understand how they send my case at the same day to two different locations! I raised and SR and ask for the notice again, I haven't received it yet and it is almost two weeks. This transfer to Texas also happened for my dependent.

What I did was that I created an account and it allowed me to review the history of my case. In my case history, there is only one transfer on Nov 8, which must be transfer to NBC and then there is a "We received your case" on Nov 16. There is no transfer on Nov 9 as what my online status shows!

There is a thread on this forum titled "case transfer to Mesquite" or sth like this, I was reading yesterday; apparently sth like this "transfer to Mesquite" had happened in 2015, surprisingly to a couple of people of which one of them was called Mreza. He finally got his GC.
So I believe we shouldn't worry about it. Our cases are probably in NBC and we will get interview notice soon.

Mesquite is the location of the Texas Service Center. I have the same situation, it says transfer to Texas but the date of transfer is the same as paper transfer to NBC. Now I can definitely say that the hotline transfers are not real and we have to stick to the paper transfer and wait for the interview.

Thanks,
Sam

Come on guys! there is no transfer to anywhere else. If these online transfers where real, they should have had new transfer dates. YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE A PHYSICAL COPY OF THOSE FAKE TRANSFERS! Only the NBC transfer is real. Just chill out and wait for your interview.
I am going to put the Trackitt aside for a while, since it is now more harmful than helpful for me.
Enjoy your holidays and check your mail box regularly.

You are right. I am not expecting to receive any new transfer notice but I expect to get a response from USCIS. They will probably sent me the transfer to NBC notice.

Hi Guys,

Please kindly clarify below question,
> I have applied new 485 in August( old 485 I did withdraw as I was out of usa for few years) with a previous X company who
applied my i-140( In 2007).
> From last 6 years I am working with Y company after transferring my H1B.
> I am expecting 485 interview may be in few months, so after Approval of GC --- Is it mandatory to work with Company X for 6months with new 485?
> I did NOT changed my GC process with AC21.
> I got EAD Approved last month, do i need to be on payrole of company X AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW to show employment verification letter or I can show present H1B employment verification Letter?

Thank You!

Hi everyone,
I received text message/emails and saw an update online that on Nov 7th, my I-485 form was transferred to another office for processing. I received the physical notice per mail on Nov 13th, transfer to NBC to speed up processing.
On Nov 8th, I received again emails and texts messages+ online updates that my case is transferred to another USCIS office and that office has jurisdiction over my case. No physical notice received yet. Called USCIS a couple of weeks ago and automated system said my case is in Vermont.
I called USCIS yesterday and spoke with an officer as it’s been 30 days I did not receive the notice. She suggested submitting a request and said it may be a duplicate as I received two notifications for the same application two successive days. I asked how can it be a duplicate when it said that my case is in two different locations? She said let’s submit a service request to find what is going on, what we did over the phone and she gave me a receipt number.

I-485 form RD 05/25/17, EB2-NIW, Cote d’Ivoire

forgot about this thread ..... update on my case since I last posted here

There was a soft LUD on my case on Dec 01. On Dec 04, I received a RFE for Supplement J with a date of Nov 30. I responded to the RFE on Dec 08 and USCIS received it on Dec 11.

no update since. Online status still says that the case was transferred and new office has jurisdiction since Nov 08.

Though I included everything in I485 application, got a stupid RFE regarding maintenance of non immigration status. May have to resend all I20s, EADs and I94s.

I have the exact same issue. My case was transferred on Nov 16. From the forums it looks like many have similar issue. Did you find any answer as to why and what it means!? I contacted my lawyer today about it and will post any updates.
