Hello guys, starting this thread to share any updates for I140 from by Texas service center.

I see only two approvals in September based on the tracker (not everyone would have updated in tracker though). May i request everyone to update the tracker as they get approval? Also, i see I140 cases pending from 2016 while USCIS processing times (from June 30) shows 1st Mar 2017. Not sure whats going on and what to expect.

i am also waiting to hear something on my EB1C I-140 application. my RD is 15-May. i guess will have to wait for few more months looking at the processing time.

my collegue whose application was filed in Dec 2016 received approval on I-140. his case status on USCIS however shows as "Case was received". i think many of them or all of them from 2016 would have been approved but their status were not updated. i am talking about TSC cases only. it is just my assumption and can be far from reality.

anyways, what's your RD? let's keep each other updated. Thanks for starting this post.

Waiting for 485 approval. 140 was approved in march and filed 485 in April. Had I done concurrent filing, may be it would have been approved before retrogression hit the adjudication. Patiently waiting for October and beyond.

Hi Guys,

Mine is concurrent filing at TSC and RD is 2/17/2017 and so far the status is 'Case Received'
Don't know how long will they take to process the I-140.

Yours should be anytime approved now. Did you raise any SR? My PD is 5th May 2017. Hope processing dates move quicker.

to sujjen:

My attorney says that SR can only be raised only after it is past processing date as per USCIS site and it still shows the processing dates for I-140 for EB1-3 as 2nd Feb 2017, so I will have to wait until that goes past 17th Feb which is my RD.

As for the approval timelines, I am also hoping that it should get approved anytime soon, though my attorney tells me that it's not unusual these days for I-140 to take upto 12 months to get approved specially for EB1-C. The other categories atleast have premium processing option we don't even have that.

While you can not raise SR but remember that processing dates are based on as of June 30.Its been 2 and half months since then. Definitely, as of today, it would be nearing March end or early April. I know one of my friend in a different company whose EB1C 140 got approved last month while he filed in April and another one got approval within 6 weeks. She filed in May 2017. Both TSC and EB1C. I know timeline varies a lot but I'm surprised 17th Feb RD case has not been touched yet. Be prepared to raise SR as soon as processing timeline gets updated.

yeah, I am surprised as well that TSC is sleeping on EB1 cases for more than 6 months but as far as you see on dashboard on trackitt there is only 10-20% approvals of cases from dec onwards under EB1C. only 2 cases are approved in Feb, 2 in march, 2 in april etc. Now I know that several people just don't update their case status on trackitt but still I am aware of atleast 2 guys in my company who are waiting from Dec and Jan filing.

USCIS processing is full of anomalies, they may approve someone from Aug 2017 while someone from Dec 2016 still shows as case received.

Don't know what to do.

Well, you can raise SR whenever the time comes. It is really variable and straight cases are approved within days. People argue that USCIS should either approve or raise RFE but should respect timeline. I think USCIS doesn't respect timeline in that way. They in many many cases they neither approve nor raise RFE and other applicants months further down still get their applications approved. There are plenty who doesn't put their status online (on trackitt etc.) mainly because most of their things happen on time and have no concerns. The 2 cases which I talked about earlier, don't even know what trackitt is.

to lukebos:

Agreed!! A lot of people don't update the status on Trackitt.

I can tell you my case should not fall in any category but straight but only if they picked up the file to begin with. Also like you mentioned, if they have any questions they can raise RFEs but they should keep the queue moving.

I guess USCIS behaves like a lottery system, if your stars are aligned you will get it if not you can spend your entire life waiting... there is no method behind their madness :-)
No sequential movement or respecting their own timelines.

At this point, I am just waiting to raise SR, though several people on the forum say that even on SR they just have automated responses and don't really do much.

**sigh**

folks, let's keep each other updated in this perticular thread as to help each other. i have tried and given as much details as possible after my EAD/AP approved to keep others informed about timeline and other details.

Please update this thread as soon as you hear something on your I-140 (TSC only of course). i can imagine long wait for me looking at my RD and periodic update from fellow applicants will definitely help in keeping the hope alive.

Thanks..!!

I suspect they look at the case and if is strong, they approve it quick, if there are doubts, they set it rest aside.

The time when my company filed 140 EB1C, it wasnt current so they did not apply I485.
As its current for Indian Citizens, Can i go ahead and apply I485 and other appropraite forms?

Likewise here. One more question, with the dates becoming current from October, does it mean the I140 processing and approvals would be speeded up? Any thoughts around it.

Thnx

I mean, does it happen really? Processing dates moved quicker? the priority date is getting to Current in October. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Theoretically 140 review, processing and approval has nothing to do with retrogression. However, how USCIS works is known to them only.

Don't respond to such email. After Equifax data breach, this kind of fishing emails, posts would start pouring in.
