Yes i had filed I-290B for I-131. Fees is $675, documents to be provided depends on the reason they have given for denial.

For me it had to be mailed at Phoenix, you can check it out on the below link

I discussed with attorney. What I understand is that the rejection decision was made based on rules, so appeal on motion will look into the decision what is made correct or wrong. So they may dismiss it and the cost is too high. So my attorney suggested to re-file I131 again without any cost.

Mine was rejected because I traveled abroad when my i131 was pending.

Hi, As part of EB-1 process, I have applied for I-140, I-131, I-765 and I-485. I received biometrics appointment for I-185 and I-765, but rescheduled as I was travelling to India. After returning to US, I completed biometrics appointment.
On 13Oct my I-131 was denied for the reason that I travelled outside US while my I-131 is pending and asked me to file I290B.

Will this affect my current processing of I-140, I-765 and I 485?
If I apply for I290B, what is the reason that will be more appropriate in this scenario?
Or should apply I-131 again?

I plan for I131 again. 290b is appeal on decision. The decision is correct. So they won’t change and the cost is also high.

Did you fill any form. Or just a request. Is there any specific timeframe to appeal or apply I131 again.

Hi, In the submit enquiry, there are couple of options. Case Enquiry and Service Requests. Did you use Service Request?
I feel the Service Request --> Typographic error is appropriate.
Other option is Case Enquiry and they are mostly related to notice not received and Outside processing timelines.

Bit confusing...whether to choose Service Request --> Typographic error or not. I think of sending I 131 and all documents including the rejection notice again. Awaiting your reply from GreenToday17.

Hi rrrr14:

Can you please let me know what did you do? My wife's I-131 is rejected. We still did not get the notice but we are suspecting that it is based on the wrong travel information in the travel history section of I-94.

Can you please suggest what to do?

Thanks

Hi, Mine is similar case, EAD approved, AP denied. Would like to know what actions are you taking? Re-applying for AP? Thanks for your help.

Hi guys,

We filed the motion to reconsider. They still denied it. Lost the filing fee and the lawyer's fee.

I would recommend just refile AP and do not travel till it is approved.

Can you please share if there is a fee if you reapply after rejection due to travel? It sounds like your lawyer says that there is no fee but I heard from others that there is. Can you please share your experience? Thank you!

Hi, My wife's AC21 rejected due to travel while AP application is in-process

Did you get approval when you re-apply? Did you put any reason for re-apply or put cover letter stating that you earlier application was rejected?

Please help!
