Topic: H1b extension processing time - Nebraska

I don't understand why it takes 4 to 6 months for USCIS to process h1b cases after suspending the premium processing.

My H1 extension filed in April 2017. I'm hoping to get approval by Sept. 2107.

I don't think it would impact anything.

Did you file your h1 extension PP or regular?

Topic: H1B extension title VS PERM title (I140 Approved)

Thank you for your quick response.

In that case, I should be good with my H1b extension, correct?

I have already completed almost 5 years on H1B and My h1b 3 years extension filed based on my approved I140 so I thought USCIS will verify that too.

Topic: H1B extension title VS PERM title (I140 Approved)

My h1b extension filed with different title than my PERM was filed(I have my I140 approved and will be using it for h1b extension).

Does USCIS verify PERM/I140 title while processing H1B extension? Will there be any issues if both are completely different?

Please advise.

Thanks!

Topic: I140 - Regular Processing Texas - Service Request

USCIS website shows 4 months processing time for I140 EB2/EB3.

Can we open a service request if the case is pending after 4 months completed?

Yes, USCIS picks cases randomly but it looks like they process most of the cases in 4 to 5 months.

I think you should be good if your attorney submits proper evidence that your field of study closely related to Comp. Sc.

if USCIS questions about Single Source of degree then It will be very difficult to justify them.

You are absolutely right about going for appeal for extending h1b beyond 6 years. Good luck!

You can refile i-140 by attaching EDGE AACRAO database report. USCIS relies on EDGE AACRAO database so you might approval. OR you can go for MTR with same the report.

The appeal will more than 6 months to hear the decision so I don't think that's a good option.

Your PERM requirements fall into Professional category since it has mentioned BS degree required and "no alternate education/experience accepted".

Was your case filed at Taxas or Nebraska Service Center? I see Nebraska service center denies cases based on education if we have filed i104 in the professional category.

What is your education equivalency as per Trustforte? Did Trustforte attach EDGE AACRAO database report along with your education evaluation?

I think you can do MTR if your attorney is ready to do so.
