Topic: I140 application for CTS (Cognizant) employees

Which center for i140 has been filed ? Why don't you upgrade your i140 in PREMIUM.

These days i140 will take about 4 months in Texas Center and H1-B is taking 6-7 months.

I think you don't need to leave the country for 280 days after your VISA is expired or H1-B Extension results comes. (Which ever is earlier) in case of bad news on H1-B Extension.

I am not an expert on Immigration but just telling from my exp. Ask the same from Immigration Team (Onsite) and you will get the proper answer.

I have not studied much about new rule but someone mentioned in FB Group that -->

"I am considering moving to a better place and employer agreed with my relocation too. Even though, i will be doing the same job with same employer the current rules enforce to restart the whole PERM/I140 process all over again due to location change.? --> Is this TRUE ?

Does it mean if anyone change project and goes to different location with the same employer then do he/she need to restart the PERM / i140 like we file H1-B Amendment ?

Previously, I heard if we change the employer then only I need to restart filing with new PERM and i140.

Request you all in the forum to help to make this clear.

It hardly matters...totally depends on their mood.

RFE or Approved.

Good Luck for all who are waiting.

Hi,

I have updated the address on myvisa portal on 24th April and so far I haven't received the ETA form to sign.

Any idea to whom I need to contact as I have GSD but its pending from Monday (05/04/2015) and no response on that.

Kindly share the info to whom I need to send email as a follow up.

Hi,

I updated questionnaires and submitted the updated address on 24th April but havn't got the perm copy for sign.

Whereas 3-4 of my team mates they did the same on 23rd April and they already returned the signed copy of PERM to company.

No idea where to whom to contact.

I raised GSD but no response of that.
