Try raising a Service Request. That helped me in my case and other similar cases. If you have not received a RFE chances are your application is approved/will be approved soon after you raise a SR and it gets assigned to an officer.

its usually the same length as that of the H1/H4 extension. If extension is for 3 years the EAD is for 3 years as well, under normal circumstances of-course

Got approval notices today. Here is the history.

1. Applied for H1B, H4, H4 EAD extension together on 4 April 17 at NSC.
2. All applications transferred to a different center (CA) on 9 June 17.
3. All applications transferred to a different center (NSC I think) on 12 June 17.
4. Raised an online SR for H4 EAD on 9 August 17.
5. SR request assigned to an Officer on Sep 1.
6. H4 EAD status changed to Card is being produced on Sep 5.
7. H4 EAD status changed to "card was mailed on Sep 7" on Sep 11.
8. Attorney received all approval notices on Sep 12. All approvals till 2020.

We still have not received the card yet. I work as a FTE.

my case was transferred to CA on 6/9 (originally file in NB on 4/7) .. my attorney tells me the case in CA will be adjucated based on the 6/9 date and not 4/7
