Topic: I-140 EAD approved by OMB

Agree. But here's the problem - USCIS' definition of EB1C eligibility is so vague that companies can exploit the loophole legally while the EB2\EB3 categories continue to suffer. What's really required is an overhaul that stops the systemic legal abuse. Unfortunately, this community has little if no influence at all on US politics and we all know how amendments/legislations work.

And this coming from a CTS employee (assuming you are one) - Get it through your thick skull that 90%, if not more of the EB1C folks, have no skills/credibility/specialty whatsoever that separates him/her from somebody who is stuck in the agonizing EB2I/EB3I (even in CTS) wait because s/he did not happen to be at the right place at the right time. To make matters worse, I have first hand experience of working with so-called EB1C managers that don't have a freaking clue of technology or have the slightest shred of communication skills. I might be generalizing about the EB1C community here but I can't help it if 90% of the so-called international managers that I happen to be surrounded by are just plain buffoons who aren't even worthy enough to be a mid-level IT employee.
Understand that the only reason that you and the rest of your ilk find yourself in a place where you can be sarcastic at people like us is because of an antiquated immigration system that allows you to carry on with this buffoonery legally while the rest of us suffer.

It's a messed up system that deliberately allows wage stagnation by keeping employees chained to their jobs while allowing a lot of the undeserving ones all the freedom and flexibility (ironically, they still happen to be subservient to the same employer even after getting the coveted green card because they know their mettle) and it's about time that the system needs to change.

Topic: I140 application for CTS (Cognizant) employees

Had asked this question before but since I didn't see anyone in the same boat as I am, just asking again - For folks who are eligible for EB2 based on 5 years' progressive experience before joining cognizant, have you sent the original experience letter to immigration team or just uploaded the scanned copy?

Has anyone in here whose i140 is eligible for eb2 (based on prior experience )submitted documents? I have a notarized experience letter from my previous company and I am not sure if I am supposed to send the original copy to GIT (and if yes, who should I send it to). I had opened a case request for clarification and it's going to be 10 days without a reply. Anyone who has gone through the same experience, please share the information you have

I think it takes somewhere between 7-10 working days for them to receive the approval. Mine was certified on 3/30, too. I guess we'll get an email in the next 3-4 days

Does anyone know how myvisajobs gets copies of submitted LCs (not just the certified ones that show up on icert) and also the authenticity of those LCs?
I am wondering because per DoL, no one can see the submitted ETA9089 except for the employer and/or attorneys.

So, does your Job Title in the search results page say computer systems analyst - V ?

Can you please let me know if your case was bachelor's plus 5 years progressive experience. Asking because mine was nov 1 and no update still. Also, does your ETA9089 say 60 months experience

Got your point and this is why I am confused - my ETA 9089 says minimum education level is master's and alternate form of education+experience as not acceptable. Nowhere does it say bachelors+60 months as acceptable even though that is the criteria I fit in. I am not sure if the ETA 9089 I am looking at is what was actually submitted. I guess I'll just have to wait it out and see what happens :)

I was because my ETA 9089 says Occupation Title as Computer Systems Analysts and Skill Level as IV. Did they submit yours under V?

Same here. PD in Nov and no updates yet. I am curious with the way the ETA 9089 has been filled in our case and would get some relief if some of these cases get certified.

I'm very curious to see the approval stats for EB2 cases that were applied based on 4 years bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience prior to joining cognizant. I have gone through all the Computer System Analyst - IV LCs that were certified and haven't seen even one who fits this criteria.

Mine is level IV - EB2. I am confused with the way my 9089 was submitted. If there's anyone with the same case as mine (submitted in Eb2 based on 4 years bachelor's+5 years progressive exp.) and got certified, I would like to check some of the details in ETA9089 with that person
