No official template. I just wrote it on the comment section of the privacy form along with my Case number. Just put in your own words, let your frustration show. Good luck.

Additionally, writing a comment to the congressman about your your recent inquiries with USCIS and frustration on waiting can help. Usually the congressman's office will contact the USCIS liaison on your behalf and they can help push your case to adjudication officer.

Check who is the congressman or senator of your zip code. Their office or website will have details on how to contact them for help with the federal department like USCIS. You have to sign a privacy form for them to help you with your case. Hope this helps.

I got my I485 approved. Details in the profile. Filed on Feb 3 2016 and approved on Feb 3 2017

I raised 3 SRs, spoke to L2 several times, and also reached out to the congressman office. Finally, got approved. BTW, my medicals were already expired but did not get any RFE. I recommend congressman inquiry to those who are still waiting. My best wishes.

Thanks for the quick response. looks like you got different response through interview and SR. when did you receive response on the SR? if your case was transferred, it does not make sense why they will send it to storage center..

Topic: Feb 2016 I-485 filers

My case summary is below.

EB1C-TSC
RD and PD: Feb 3rd.
I140 approved on May 16, 2016 (but online status never changed)
I485 - Pending

Raised SR on Oct 14 and today got the below response. Anyone seen this, is this due to retrogression or background check or a routine response to buy more time.. please advise. I am planning to raise SR on my dependent case too to see if that is any different.. Thanks.

"We received your service request regarding the status of your case. Since the date of USCIS’s last action, your file has been transferred to a USCIS storage facility or records center. We will need additional time to request your file from that office. Upon arrival, a supervisor will review the file. Please allow up to 60 days for receipt and review of the file. We will notify you when we have received and reviewed the file."
