The senate also wants to provide some status to dreamer parents, unbelievable to see the Texas senators are negotiating, as they are the one who challenged DACA in court in the first place. Nothing will be there for legals or H4 dreamers in the senate version.

I get the feeling the senate version of the DACA bill will not have anything for people in the backlog or changes to EB immigration.

What are your thoughts on increasing overall green cards for EB1,EB2 and EB3 from 120K to 175K. This would lead to more spillover to clear the backlog ?

Topic: EB 5 spillover in future

Hello friends

Just want to get your thoughts on potential EB 5 spillover from 2018 onwards because of the below EB 5 regulation which is in Final rule stage

Topic: When EB2I Filing dates move again and cross FEB-2010?

Clearing 2009 itself will take a long time with the way things are going. We need one good year like FY 2013 and 2014 with good spillover to get out of this mess.

Topic: US Consulate Visa Appointment Availability - INDIA

I booked my wife's appointment in Mumbai consulate for Aug 24(OFC) and Aug 26(Consular) and I called the customer care and they said H4's can attend the interview any where.

I need to fill one more DS 160.

Mumbai consulate has good amount of dates in August, I tried hard to get dates in HYD and Chennai with no luck at all with the UI blocking me like crazy..

Hope this helps.

I am also looking for July/August appointments in HYD, haven't blocked anything yet as the date shown is in September. Could you please let me know, that we refresh the home page where it shows first available appointment on the left to the side bar or the calendar page?

Topic: When the Acceptance date move again for Eb2 ?

With the way things are going, 2011 will take at least 3 more years for EAD. My PD is Jan 2011, if DHS moves it to 2011, USCIS will take the filing date back.

End of the day.. No Movement

Topic: July 2014 PERM Cases- Audit Only

I got the info from my employer that attorney screwed up the filing and appeal might also get rejected.. I called my previous employer and requested not to revoke my I-140. If my Jan 2011 eb2 date get current, I will go back to them...but I get the feeling that I wont be current anytime soon...

Topic: Port Priority Date while I140 is pending

Nope. You need to have an approved I-140 to port your priority date with new employer.
