Topic: H1b extension processing time - Nebraska

Not good news for laggard cases like mine.
They've hit a march processing date but haven't decided upon 2016 cases. Weird...

==========================================================

Yeah unfortunately that is how USCIS dates are :( however now you can raise SR for all cases prior to 15 March 2017 at Nebraska

Topic: H1b extension processing time - Nebraska

One question for forum members:-

Now USCIS website is showing processing times for Nebraska as 15 Mar 2017 and California as 2-Apr-2017.

Does it mean they have processed all cases prior to this? Or these are latest date they have reached?

Please help me to understand.
======================================

No, unfortunately it does not mean they have processed all the cases prior to 15 Mar 2017. As per this forum many are still waiting for October 2016 cases.

Topic: Visa Interview Waiver: Eligibility

Mostly no based on last point under INTERVIEW WAIVER PROGRAM "DROP-BOX" CHECKLIST on below link

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-vi...

Even if she qualifies she will not know officially until she fills DS 160 and actually tries to to get date as the official confirmation for drop box is given only at that point.

Topic: VISA Stamping-221(g)

It takes anywhere between 1 month to 2 months to process 221 G. You will get email to submit your passport once they look at all your documents.

Topic: H1 Ext Approved while out of US + Valid H1B VISA

@titan1978:

As per my understanding about I-94 - Approved 797 for extension in hand or not they will give I-94 upto Nov 2017 only because they give I-94 based on visa stamped on passport and not 797.

If you get 797 for extension and get visa stamped from US Consulate in Germany then you will have visa on passport until your extension expiry date and hence they will issue I-94 upto that expiry date

As per my knowledge, your old H1B visa valid until Nov 2017 itself is sufficient at POE. Should not be a concern as long as you have visa stamped on your passport until Nov 2017 and you are returning in June 2017.

OP:

Guys. Pls. answer this question.
1. Filed in Oct 16. What is the probability to receive RFE now ? I mean after all these months hopefully shud not receive RFE ?
2. In case during extension , if you travel out of US and RFE comes then is that the end of visa ?
======================================================================

It depends when your I-94 is expiring

Topic: Timeline for passport receipt for dropbox

We have similar situation. We are assuming that we do not have to go for 10 print as we got stamping in Dec 2016 and 10 printing was done at that time.

Are you working on H1 receipt notice ? Because USCIS will mostly ask for your paychecks if you apply his status change from H1 to H4 as your dependent. This is little complicated. Please seek attorney's advice.
