Topic: wife is pregnant - my contract project is ending

Hi
If you terminated, 2 options for your insurance

1)COBRA - you can use your current insurance for next one year but you pay more premiums
Advantage is same doctor and network. No change in your coverage or limit

2) You can get local private insurance based on termination letter.
It's new term. No out do pocket carry over from old insurance

Based on current Trent , it may take another 5 years. If you get more than 30% more then jump it

Topic: i140 porting EB3-EB2 - priority date not captured

Even if your priority date not ported in new I-14-, you could still file with old i140 + new i140 with porting covering letter if your priority date is current.

No need to worry about this.

Topic: I-140 EAD approved by OMB

Let me explain my situation. My old i-140 priority date is Jun 2008. My current employer won't file PERM for next 2 year. If my Priority date is current (let say after 3 month), can I still use my I-140 to extend my H1B or move to different employer?

hi
Current employer is not yet filed PERM. If my I-140 priority date is current, can't I extend my H1B with my current employer or moving to new employer?
