i-140 Can be withdrawn by the employer.
You CAN retain the PD! Hope that helps

Topic: Previous employer revoking I-140

Does that mean revocation of I-140 dosent have any impact on the current H4 EAD which was derived from the I-140? And the issue arises only when its time to renew the H4 EAD eh?

Topic: Travel through Doha on Qatar with Approved I-797

Transit visa is required only at the European airports (Frankfurt, LHT, CDG, Munich et al).
The ones in middle-east (Doha, Dubai & Abudhabi et al) dont' require transit visa. Btw, if you are transiting Doha and have a high transit time, they even give you hotel accommodation (visa on arrival).

Go to the nearest CBP office and get it updated. Why travel when you can do it locally?

By default (based on certain pre-conditions) ustraveldocs gives you only the dropbox option. How did you get the interview option? Did you put a wrong response to go to interview workflow?

Topic: I 94 Admit Until Date incorrect

Please go to the CBP Deferred section at any of the POE and request correction of the I94 dates.
This is pretty straightforward.

Topic: Urgent question - I-94

Did you approach the CBP deferred section at any of the POE and request updating I94 date based on the new petition? I had done it twice (passport renewal & new petition)? The question they gonna ask is "did you show the new I797 at the POE?" but will update your I94 date to reflect 12/17.

You should have done that before the i94 expiry. Looks like you are out of status now.

Yup, my case is similar to yours. Only difference is that H4 is approved.
H1 & H4 had different received dates. 04/20 and 03/30 respectively.

create an account on the USCIS website and check receipt status. If its premium processing then the bottom left of the page (case history) will have the following note to indicate premium processing:
"We received your request for premium-processing of your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, and mailed you a receipt notice."

Topic: Need info to confirm if i will get out of status

You have the benefit of the 240 days rule:

240 Day Rule:
This is the H1B visa 240 day rule where an individual can continue to work for the current employer for up to 240 days after the current H-1B visa expiration if he/she is waiting for the USCIS decision.

Topic: H1B transfer with approved i140

Nope, no spl benefits for having 140. All you get from 140 is 3 more years extension if you are at end of of your 6yrs cap. Also, you have to go thru the entire PERM/I-140 process with the new employer. Of course you can retain your original Priority Date.

Topic: H1B Transfer Approved - need to go for stamping ?

Yes, the visa stamped on your passport is valid irrespective of your employer. I have been through that situation .
If asked at POE just show your new i-797.
