rescind and replace with the backlog for EB2 and EB3, so the next wave of people on h1b wont be able to extend on h1b.
people on ac21 are already grandfathered in, so that should be fine. Repeal and replace.
This could be an final year for immigration and people who will come now on, it wont be any easy.
To be brutally honest u paid/paying the price of being born in india/china.

i am not in IT, i dont even know how to code or test. i barely use any software.
All i am saying is, he needs to end ac21 and clear the backlog
so everyone benefits. Which he may, since u cant throw doctors, nurses and scientists right away and it could
create a big shortage for industries.
Anyways regarding calling an uber to airport, we will see who calls first, either your employer or trump.
and if you are so smart you can survive anywhere in the world, what are you afraid of, what were you given
that you are going to lose. You cant worry about things you cant control..
There is an anti immigration wave in US and no one can go against it.
Its a privilege and not a right.

Why does any company need anyone for more than 6 years?
What kind of a project would anyone be working on to be needed for 6 years or more.
That is the logic of Trump to put people out of the system.
Look guys i got no dog in this fight, i am not fighting to stay here on H1B,
nor i have anything to look forward to India either.
My family is here, everyone is here, I got nothing to lose even if i am not an H1B.
We have family business and i will just join them.
About narayan murthy, i have great respect for him and his wife but he knows that what his employees are
doing in US, like filing EB1C, so all in all he is also the culprit. The list includes Ratan Tata, Premji and more.
They know what the fuck they are doing in US. Its wrong and now they are getting kicked in the but, so WITCHES suck it up buttercup. I thing rescinding AC21 should happen and they need to comeup with a system for all who have been backlogged.
Again if you dont like what they are doing to you, you can always leave, this is not a slavery time.
You came here on your free will and will leave on your free will if you want to, there is no force.
Atleast thank the US that it gave you a chance to be here and make you are your dreams come true, not most of it but somewhat, instead of bitching and moaning.
Remember its a privilege and not a right.
Rescind it Trump.

trump is doing right for his citizens, he is the only president who lived upto his promise.
he is doing right for american citizens. I am on h1b, and would lose my job and status, but what trump is doing is completely right. Buy american and hire americans, i dont think its any problem here.
H1B and living in US is a privilege, not a right. Mostly IT people screwed the system, it was fine and dandy till 2009 and then all the WITCHES started coming in the US, now they go it right back.
That squinty murthy from infosys, is going to get more squint.
I love the part when donald says, " u can tell them to go and fuck themselves"
Six years on H1B is a priviledge and why does any company need anyone for more than 6 years.

Topic: Need drastic inputs

This week is a make or break week for me and my wife
She is about to transfer to another company and the current company may or may not revoke
her approved I-140 petition. So we have asked a lawyer to talk to the company, to convince them to keep it.
I know that this EAD for H4 is almost approved and it will benefit me for sure, and the EO by Obama will be in effect
by the year end.
So my question is shall we take that risk to transfer and shall she stay at the same company.
When should we speak to the employer before the transfer or after....If we speak before they might cancel the H1B
and she would be left with nothing, if she tells them after its transferred (worst case scenario) she loses her GC process and PD. The place she works is unbearable for her and no room for growth after working for 8 years....
Since she is not in IT, its difficult for her to move around and get new jobs....
thanks.

Topic: changing employer after I-140 approval.

My wife has an job offer with company B and company A has filed I-140 which has been approved.
We are not sure how to approach the company to tell them to continue the GC process.
Has anyone done this and what is the general reaction from the employers and can they really
continue with GC processs, if the employee gets a new job.
Is it legally allowed and what is the procedure as the employer does not have an immigration lawyer
How should this issue be addressed.
We have been in this country almost a decade and have no interest going to our country to live
and this GC process gets even more and more complicated day by day. The more we run after it,
the more it takes longer to process and gets emotionally draining......
I would really appreciate your help as we just dont know what will the employer say...
there is no real company policy as to what needs to be done when the employee leaves the job...
But again, they have complete control over what they can do.
I would really appreciate if anyone can help.
thanks

Topic: Labor thru new employer

There is no end in sight with this immigration thing, she would not even think of transferring if we know what Obamas executive order will be in effect this year or may not be....who knows....
I just heard today about the DHS furloughs for a good couple of weeks....
So all this things we are unsure if this EO is even going to implmented this year....or may never be implemented at all..
If the republicans make a new law then all the EO by Obama will be wiped out and it will take a good year to implement the new law.....then its a waste staying at the job, where people treat u like, u mean nothing afterworking for 8 years on h1b.
Thank god we have backup as a PR of Canada....or else we be in deep trouble.....

The only reason my wife is leaving because there is no growth in her current company
She had the same position for 4 years and its pretty frustrating when you have 2 masters with license.
Company B only has offered a job and not GC process....its ideal if they do the GC process....
That might take time to do it and the Doctors Company is willing to do it, since my wife has to go back
and work if it gets approved, but looks like the chances are slim....i guess according to this forum.....

well she not into IT, she is in psychology, which is unheard of...
the company she wants to transfer has offered her a job....which is funded by health and human services under non profit
incase company A cancels the GC process the other option is going with the doctors consultancy.....
He is starting the new company, not just to file GC but to genuinely start hiring in Healthcare field....including H1B, psychaitrists,
It happens so the company is new and wants to apply for future employment, so what are the chances for getting something like this approved.....

She will transfer my h1b to another company.......where she was offered a job
We just want to do our GC process thru this doctors company....for future employment.....

Topic: Labor thru new employer

I have a job with company A, with I140 approved and want to transfer to company B.
Company A will not continue my GC process so I have to reapply to new company
New company has never filed a Labor petition nor has any employee.
The employer has money to show in the bank and all documents.
What are my chances of getting Labor and I140 approved.

Topic: Changing jobs and GC

I have an offer from company B, and want to leave company A, which has filed my PERM
What if under some circumstances company B is not a good match for me, can I leave it?
If I do leave company B and go outside the country ( assuming that company A) keeps GC going
Can I apply for I-485 when my PD is current from outside the country.
