A-15065* is March 6 or 7 PD. I can see only one employer "Mastech" got certified on 18th Sep (starting with Alphabet 'M'). Official notification will be to your employer via attorney. Meanwhile, I would say, give it some time, may be 4 more days, just hope for the best.

Ya, if you can share your A-150* number, we can tell you the approximate.

That's good info. My Employer name is between A- M and that's why got nervous!

One good thing is in A-15077, the max is see is 'G' which is Google Inc. So keeping my hope!

Topic: Cognizant - Green Card Issues

akuthotav,

I joined CTS in Sep 2011 with the high hope of GC. I had to wait until Nov 2012 to start the discussion about GC with Account Manager followed by numerous requisite docs to GIT. I was ready for everything and myvisa site status finally came to 'Generate ETA ****' in Feb 2013, which is the final state in the portal by which they have to file PERM. This happened after rigorous followup with GIT. From that day on, I would have raised 20+ tickets for which the response from GIT was simply 'we are waiting for the Perm period, will keep you posted'. After all, I quit CTS in Nov 2014. All these 3+ years, my average work day was 16+ hrs (worked almost every other weekend). So, my personal advice is, if your primary objective is GC, don't go with CTS.

Topic: PERM application for CTS (Cognizant) employees

Hello Guys,

I have submitted my docs in sep 2012 and was continously following up. My Maxout is 2016. Now, all docs are verified and GIT has to file PERM, but the process is on hold for more than 2 months. Their response to my query was very clear this time. So, thought of sharing with you all. The shocking thing is though you are eligible for EB-2, you will be filed in EB-3 only and I fall under this category.

GIT response:
-------------
With regards to Cognizant's PERM filings. Cognizant, in the month of January, had a short filing window that, due to our redesign of the GC program was limited to EB-3 filings. As that was the case we had a limited number of petitions we were able to file and thus first went with urgent max out situations. If someone was in an Urgent Max out situation, regardless of whether or not they may meet normal EB-2 criteria we filed in the EB-3 category. We then tried to focus on those that have submitted their case on a first come first serve basis and were only EB-3 eligible. We dont have definite timeframe on next filing cycle.

Hello everyone,

I submitted all my documents on first of Sep 2012 to GIT and seeked an update thru GSD and got a reply today. Below is the reply;

"Thank you for your inquiry. We may be able to file PERM applications at the end of Q4 and will update you immediately if there are any changes. During this time period, GIT will continue to review cases, but will not be able to provide an exact filing date or EB filing category. Your continued patience is appreciated."

I have M.E from Anna univ, joined CTS India in Dec 2009 and came here to US in Sep 2011. As a prior experience, I was with TCS for 5+ yrs. Hoping to get promoted to SA in next cycle. I will be completing 3yrs with CTS (including India & US experience) this Dec, 2012. I thought my case will go through EB2. But after reading some of the post here, now I get fed up. I'm eagerly waiting for all your replies with my fingers crossed.
