Topic: Changing job after getting green card

this is always questionnable since its an employment based but if you see the card there are no terms and conditions that you have to oblige with. Also, seeing here on trackitt, I dont see anyone getting their citizenship rejected because you didnt stay for 6 months after getting it. also, there is no law that states that you have to be with the employer for 6 months.
there are folks who left the day after gc and some later. I am done with my employer tomorrow because of contract ending and I got gc just a month ago. I am moving onto the other employer in a month.

There are no requirements that you have to work for 6 months. Unless, you signed an agreement with him which is a separate issue.

Since you dont have DOB issued at the time of birth and I am guessing your birth was not registered at the Registrar office. In this case, you would get a non availability certificate which basically says your birth was not registered and hence there are no records. This should be followed with affidavits from your parents and uncles which will clearly mention your birth details. Hope this helps.

In my case, I provided the non availability certificate issued by our mandal office and four affidavits (Parents, Uncles(

Topic: Hospital-issued birth certificate-I 485

Hospital issued the birth certificate but that does not count as official certificate. You should get a registered certificate from the govt authority. In this case, since you didnt register the birth with the authority, you need to get a non availability certificate from the local government i.e municipality if you are from India.

If the registered date of birth certificate does not exist then you need to get non availability certificate followed by affidavits. The languague should be in english.

Goto uscis.gov and look for make an appointment icon and click on. It will take you to next page asking within US or outside, if you are in USA, click on that and enter your zip code. It will show the offices servicing your zip code and click on them and then click infopass appointment. Once you sign up using your recipt number, A number, you will get a unique code which you can use it cancel if you decide not to go. Its pretty easy.

Topic: H1B Extension - 240 days rule

This is just my scenario in 2016 when my H1B was pending for more than 240 days and I still continued working. I talked to my lawyer and he said as long as the application is pending, I can work. I listened to him and continued working and after 260 days or so, I upgraded to premium but got an RFE which took another two months to respond but after the response, it got approved without any issues and my I-94 was extended without having to leave USA for visa stamp. So my application was in pending status for about 300 days. My I-94 was expired more than 240 days.
