Topic: Do i need stamping ?

the only question is what I 94 expiry date you will get on passport. If you get as per I 94 on new I 797, everything is good. But are we sure that we will not get old visa expiry date on I 94?

I am in similar situation except I am with same employer. My current visa expires on Feb 08, 2018 and received new I 797 till 2020. I am travelling to India and returning before 15th Jan. Is there any official link that says I do not need stamping?

Topic: H1b extension processing time - Nebraska

My case was submitted on 09/06 regular processing and was approved on 11/03. I think Nebraska center is faster compared to others.
