Topic: will SOC code change trigger amendment?
Hello all,
My employer will be applying for my extension soon.Nothing has changed from the previous H1 , the same end client and same employer except for the SOC code. So will my application need an amendment as well for SOC code change? |

What is the criteria for an application to be sent to Nebraska service center? When you go by employers location it either goes to CSC or Vermont? I have been with the same employer and client for the past 4 years , does this mean my application should be sent to Nebraska? |

As my client is not willing to give client letter ,will an email from the client stating the same and my duites suffice? Also getting affidavits from my Project Manager and Teal lead will be of any help in this? Please advise |

I will be applying for extension soon and my client is willing to give a letter in this format only
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to confirm that the [Client Name] has contracted for the services of [My Name] to work at our premise located at [client Location] to work on this project.
XXX current contract expires on June 30, 2018. XXX typically works 40 hours per week and these projects are anticipated to continue on an ongoing basis beyond June 30. Please note the [client Name ] does not employ or directly contract with [My name]. [client Name ] has contracted with [Vendor Name] to act as a staffing services provider on its behalf.
The letter does not mention job duties and my employers name. Will this be good enough ? If not as I still have around 5 months , do you think it is better for me to move to a new job and then apply for amendment and extension from there ? |

Just that I wont have enough time to respond if I get a RFE or if something goes wrong .. My I94 expires in September as well so wont get a chance to stay in the US and see other options. |

Thanks for the response uscis.. I am more worried about the job description .. The client is not willing to give this , I wrote a very brief description of what I do ,still they are not agreeing for this.. I work for the vendor directly in EC model and they have not been successful in getting the required format from the client either ... |

Hi Guys , I will be applying for H1 extension soon . I have all other documents in order except the client letter. The client is willing to give the letter in their own format which does not have any job duties that I currently perform at the client site . Also my contract is renewed annually in the month of June every year. So the end date of june 2018 was mentioned along with the statement that it will be renewed . My H1 expires this Sep. So will this letter suffice? What are the chances of getting extension without the client letter at all? |

Will it have any positive effect on h1 extension as nothing has changed from my first H1 approval? Also which service center is likely to process extension application ? |
