Topic: July 2014 Eb2I new filers... let us track.

I am july filer with feb 2008 priority, I am eagerly waiting to get GC and Quit due to dirty politics at client location.. Literally working with group of morons at client locations who only play politics.I am in a bad consulting company who is been lying/fooling for years..

As 180 days is passed, can employer do any thing to revoke greencard. I am ready to move today but thought to get GC and Go..

I am sure there are people in same boat..Can you guys advise on how to play it safe...

I can understand the pain.

As 180 days is passed can employer do any thing to revoke greencard.

With lot of patience, i waited this long but the politics at work are getting ugly day by day and want to switch immediately. As usual guys with out knowledge cause trouble and politics.

Will Switching at this point, cause any delays in getting GC this year?

Say, if i continue to work till i get GC; can employer cause any trouble or revoke the approved one?

While i am in an indian mnc.. I had a manager who wants me to share my screen while developing.. he then talks to managers as if he is developing and helping me. Even i get top management appreciation, he gives me and the team mates bad ratings in the performance reviews..He clears his path to get top rating..This is a very common situation in most of the services companies.. In a week, we waste 20 hrs giving status to these managers who are jerks...

Many friends advised me to move to another team...I did not follow it initially and Later he tried to kick me out after the project completion... And then, Client removed him as well..I moved to a different team as a lead and he became my tester..Ofcourse he did not continue and moved to differnt team due to ego problems and eventually out of the company..

I am sharing my story just to let you know that...

1. Dont live with frustration on daily basis.. As you are a full time employee, you might have an option to change to a different team..take help of whom ever is required to get this done..
2. Incase 1 is not possible..As you have no status issues, keep smiling in the front and try for better job in parallel. Whole world needs good resources and all it takes is two months of effort to find a good job..

My friend, life is short and dont waste ur time to live with crooks..

Topic: request for advice. Starting own company

I am full time employee to a consultant company working for a client. I applied 485 like 6 months ago and has EAD/AP. I would like to be an independent contractor and work for my self to save tax amount. I travel a lot and it will help me to save taxes on expenses if i have my own company.

I am yet to get a green card. Can i start a new company and file AC21 to my own company and work for an employer? Will this have any impact to the green card process.. please help..

My h1b is expiring in 11 months. I have completed 7 years and currently in process of applying gc. I used to have 140 but revoked.

In worst case scenario, if my i140 is not approved before my h1b expiration, Can i go back to india and come after i140 is approved. (or) do i need to wait for 1 year to go to stamping as i already in 7th year.

Can you guys let me know..Thanks..

its a good company and GIT should stop bulk filings and also stop any withdrawls/revokes of perm, 140 etc. if at all it does any. Bulk filings and withdrawls does no good for the company and future filers.
