Topic: fate of H4 EAD
Small minded people abound in this world and they expose their very small thought processes by expressing themselves.
Instead of doing something to better themselves, they choose to troll anonymously on an immigration forum even after getting their GCs. Go figure!
|
Topic: fate of H4 EAD
You just have everything backwards.
There really is no point arguing with someone who just does not get it.

Topic: fate of H4 EAD
If you say I am jealous let it be. I am not a saint. But I saw people struggling with single income waited for years to get GC and settle down. I am not talking about some people who have talent and settle with there hard work. I am talking about people who got benefited with immigration policies which was not there earlier. If it would have been like this since beginning I wouldn't have seen people struggling.
AVPs in Banking are nothing special and are for most part programmers themselves. Competition in industry is cut throat and each one of us is replaceable. This has nothing to do with H4 EAD workers. It is plain and simple economics when it comes to companies and you really need to bring value for the money you are being paid.
You and your wife having worked on H1s will NEVER understand what others who benefit from the H4EAD program are going through. Whether you like it or not, the program will survive in some form or the other and I do hope it does as my wife and my family benefits from this.
We owe no explanations to you.

Why are you still hanging around in these forums after getting GC ... addicted?
Immigration journey does not end with GC, there is one final step remaining. I'll be off this site once that is done.
OK, that was the official answer, but I've to admit though, there's quite a bit of entertainment on here. Did you read that "green car" joke on that other thread?
Yes indeed, our troubles is pure entertainment and a laughing matter for you now that you are on the other side.
I see that you plan on voting for Trump as well in 2020. Way to go, bro!

Topic: IV call this Sunday, any predictions?
Right... You want to enlighten us on what this grand strategy is?? Apart from piling on Co sponsors for the bill, what else is there real strategy? IV leadership knows that the chances of this bill gets lesser with each passing day and they still push people to donate. What are the donations being used for exactly? Hiring lobbyists may be expensive, but what is wrong in disclosing how much they are spending each month? The only reason they are reluctant to do this is because the leadership profits from this. There is no ifs or buts to this.

Topic: The New York Times article on the backlog and H4 EAD issues
Well said! The term Home-owner is such a misnomer. A better term would be "Glorified Renter", the bank being the landlord. Equity building like you pointed out does not happen until later. The mortgage payment is primarily interest in the first years of a mortgage. All in all, this is very well set up system to fool people into parting with their cash and it has been working for a long time here. We are all relative newcomers and it is easy to see how many well meaning, supposedly smart people can get suckered into mortgages they can never afford.
|
Topic: The New York Times article on the backlog and H4 EAD issues
The issue the article tried to highlight was the fundamental right of work being taken away.
This is why nobody likes you Indians. Because of your blatant entitlement mentality. And yes, Racism Reflex, 3 ... 2 ... 1 .... here we go...
"you indians", and not "us Indians"??
Want to update your profile already then with your real country of origin? :)
|
Topic: Do people still believe IV??
I got it too just now.
They need to keep this dog and pony show going, lest the donations dry up. They have no credibility whatsoever.
Enough talk, where are the results?

Topic: The New York Times article on the backlog and H4 EAD issues
I do not understand this mentality as well. What are you trying to prove and who are you trying to prove it to???
A home should be a place where there is peace of mind, not something that reminds you every month how grand an amount you owe in a mortgage payment.
I live in NJ and I see this time and again, so much that builders are cutting corners and building crappy houses that our people just lap up like anything paying way too much. I know a couple of people who payed more than 500K for a townhouse, that too without a basement in a place where one should pay that kind of money for a single family home and now they are regretting it after the initial high of "buying" the place. What is the point of all of this idiocy when you are going to be house poor and can barely afford to furnish the place after. Can only hope the thinking changes, but desis are always out there to one up each other and we play the keeping up with joneses game all too well sadly.

Topic: May VB prediction
I don't think it was racist. I don't mind someone calling Indian guys wipro and infosys dudes. But that's just me, now a days everyone is so sensitive. So i don't know....
Indeed, just look at all the snowflakes here. That was such an innocent comment and nowhere is it even remotely racist.
These people will characterize being called HM or Tata guys racist as well then.
Take it easy already before you people blow a gasket!

Topic: The New York Times article on the backlog and H4 EAD issues
Frankly, I don't know what these people were thinking even disclosing how much their mortgage was to begin with. It could very well have been the reporter who may have coaxed these people to speak more about their struggles. Seriously, did they think they will get sympathy from the average American for who paying $4800 as a mortgage could be a distant dream.
Sometimes, I think our people do more harm than good by even speaking about our struggles..

Topic: IV,RHC etc etc- Suddenly all disappears
so much for FREE SPEECH.. hope you dont have to get to AceMan1001..
LOL. that has been a LOT of free speech. He is most probably on the bench with a lot of hot air. It is impossible for a highly skilled immigrant in this country with a H1 job to be posting at that pace. Just mindless long posts.
I guess trackitt and path2usa thought his account was a bot, going by number of posts.. LOL..
You are the biggest joke from this incident. You could have just gone with your usual bull, but you decided to come with more nonsense.
Sorry you were caught pants down yesterday. Your profile was created in 2016, you answers all EB1 questions and you updated your profile as Eb2 from 2011 in 2017.
So you are a person without the basic integrity even in an anonymous forum.
How good is that !!!
Think you jumped the gun there a bit. His account has been around since Jan 2012. Just that he chose to start posting nonsense since 2016. I do agree with your sentiments about him though.
Still awaiting his justification for comparing us with Bangladeshi immigrants in India :)

Topic: IV,RHC etc etc- Suddenly all disappears
It has to do more with the number of people disagreeing with Aceman. Or it could very well be one person who created multiple accounts and reported Aceman.
The admins probably have not much control if this one person is to report an account enough number of times.

Topic: IV,RHC etc etc- Suddenly all disappears
If this organization was really all that transparent, they would disclose what they were doing with all the donations they have received so far. Any attempt at trying to get answers gets your banned and removed from the Telegram group in true mafia style.
In the end, we are helpless and have limited options as far as organizations are concerned.

Topic: IV,RHC etc etc- Suddenly all disappears
Cosponsors mean next to nothing. If it did, this bill would have passed a long time ago.
Let me ask you something, since you seem to know a lot of the "behind the scenes" activity and try not to call me an idiot like you easily seem to call others.
For all this time, the focus has been to get support in the House and there has been repeated assurances to leave the Senate game to senior leadership. Why is it that IV then had to beg its volunteers to find a Senator to apply amendments to the Senate's DACA bill? IV should have had at least one Senator to help with the amendments instead of going out and asking for help, right?
