Guys happy to inform you that mine and my wife's I-485 were approved today. I had decided to not check USCIS status for next few days because of frustration but I am glad I did.

All the best to rest of the folks who are waiting. You should all get approvals soon.

Well I am not an expert but your company can file for your GC anytime it wants. Based on what you said, you should be eligible and I am just talking based on the residence details that you provided. I am not sure about your job profile as a manager. You can get help from some law firm if your department lacks experience.

My last updated date is Jan 22, 2015, it was Nov 2014 earlier. No, I am not saying that my case is transferred to local office. had called USCIS last week and they told me it goes back and forth between NSC and local field office and hence it can take more time. Essentially, if the field office date is current there are high changes of cases getting picked up.

Well, optimistically we can say you should get it soon assuming it is Oct 19th and the date as of Aug 31st is Feb 23. Mine is way behind Jan 22, so I will need to wait for some more time I guess.

You should get it pretty soon. Atlanta processing is March 9, 2015 as of July 31st.

I called up USCIS, the lady said that that the Info flows back and forth between field office and NSC. She told me for Phoenix (where I live) its still processing Nov 14th, 2014 and I should wait. I checked processing times for field offices, it seems they have not been updated since July 31st, 2015. But even then, it will take 2 months for me to get approval.

Any expert here that can comment on this field office?

Which city and state are you staying? I found out that the delay could be because of the processing time in the field office of your residential state. Is that true?

Guys, any updates for any of the April filers. The wait for I-485 is getting brutal. I submitted a service request on 7th but still haven't received a response.

When did you raise the SR and how much time it took you to get a response back? I raised one on Wednesday and waiting for a response.

That's awesome news!! Congratulations!!I am happy for you.

I do have a question for you. Can you tell us what was the status before it was approved, did it go from Fingerprint fee accepted to Case Received to Approved? Or it was already Case was received before you saw approval today?

Congratulations Favour1. I just have a one question, did your forms expire already, when did you submit the docs and how much time your lawyer took to file.

I am concerned that all my forms have expired, my medical exam was done in Nov 2014 and I see that the I 693 expired in Jan 2015. Not sure if USCIS is adjudicating expired forms or is giving RFEs.

Not to sound pessimistic but I am anticipating RFE as well, all my forms expired. I submitted docs in Dec last year and was not filed until April and now we are September.

It will be in the received status only and the status will change directly to decision (Approve).

I am also reaching 4 weeks since my I-140 was approved (Apr 13th), waiting for I-485. One of my worries is that almost all the forms I had used for I-485 have expired, wondering if that will be an issue.

I have also not heard any I-485 approvals for April filers. My I-140 was approved on 08/13. Hoping to hear something soon, I think it will take a month or so after I-140 approvals. I also think a lot of folks who get I-485 forget to update the tracker. Haven't seen any approvals after 03/18 PD.

I think other experts might provide correct answers but I think you must have Advance Parole to enter US if your I-485 gets approved, your L1-A is not valid anymore the moment your I-485 gets approved since it means you are registered resident now and cannot be on an immigrant visa.
