Topic: PP while responding to RFE

My H1 is due for renewal on Dec 31st, 2017. I got an RFE asking for college transcripts. Can I sent I907 PP application along with the response to get the response processed faster? I also submitted my wife's I539 and H4 EAD application with my application. Does PP apply to that also or just to my I129?

Topic: Visa Waiver Program

I got my 7th year H1B Extension approved last year, and is valid till Dec 31st 2014. The stamping in my passport expired on Dec 31st 2011, which is greater than 12 months. So do I have to go in for an interview? I still work with the same company that was on the previous visa.

Topic: H4 Extension approval while Primary H1B-ext still in pending..

My situation is exact opposite. H1 was approved on 27th but H4 for wife and child is still in review. My daughter's passport expired 2 months after I sent the application, so I am worried if they will send RFE for the new passport which is still in process at the Indian Consulate.

Topic: Update your Trackitt Profile

I got a mail asking me to update my h1b application. So I logged in and marked it still pending,no change. Then when I went to uscis to check status, it showed approved. So I went back and changed it ...LOL

Topic: H4 visa for a new born baby born in india

I went through this. Basically you have to take an appointment for the baby to get visa stamping. And either you or your wife or both have to go to the consulate with the baby. The interview process was the same as it was for regular h1/h4, you will need all your documents with approved i797 for both of you.

Topic: H1B extension - processing time

my receipt date is nov 4th. my 6 year expired on dec 31st 2011. I hope they take a decision soon. My eb2 is already current last month and I applied for i485, EAD and AP. Thats why I didnt want to spend more to do PP.

Topic: Premium Processing

I had applied for 7th year extension based on my approved I140. I also concurrently file I539 for extension of H4 for my spouse and child. Now we want to do premium processing. Do I need to send I907 for each application(I129 and I539). Can we efile I907 application because we see an option on the uscis website.

so far I have not had to pay anything for h1 or i140. I will check if they cover spouse/child also. They did pay for i539 for them.

Topic: Visa Bulletin February 2012 Predictions

are I485 applications per individual? If I had to apply for myself, spouse and child, is it 3 separate applications with $1070 each? Is the employer responsible for the fees like the I129 and I140 fees?

Topic: I140 approved, H1B sixth year

I am planning to apply for extension since I140 is approved and my priority date is not current. Do I apply for 1 year or 3 year extension. Should I risk going to India to get stamping, or should I try from Canada/Mexico? My friend in my same situation went for stamping in Hyderabad, and they kept his application for 7 weeks for no reason. He said its normal these days.

Topic: Eb2 just got approved without lawyer

My employer and I did it all by ourselves, going through the GC kit and forums like this one and Murthy. Did get an RFE on experience and ATP, both of which were sent. Now question is, do I need a lawyer for I485 since I hear its tougher to do by your own.

Topic: RFE on Experience Letter

just wanted to let you know, my I140 got approved last week. I sent them my current company's experience letter, showing date of join, progression of experience in the job, and current duties. As a buffer I had also included my experience letter from before my Masters.

Topic: RFE on Experience Letter

I have a US Masters degree after 4 years BTech from India and have been working in this company since graduation for last 5 years. I was in Systems Analyst position for 4 years then moved to Senior Analyst for last one year. We filed for EB2 with PERM approved. PERM has job requirement as Bachelor's with 2 years or Master with One. RFE is asking for experience letter showing 2 years of experience in Senior Analyst position, which I dont have. Should we send experience letter for 5 years showing progressive experience on the job, since I only have 1 years experience and RFE is asking for two. Should I cancel this I140 and start process fresh with new PERM?
