Topic: H1b extension processing time - Nebraska Hi All, This thread has given good insight of current pattern. I was a silent spectator. Now its my turn to furnish my approved H1B&H4 extension details. USCIS Receive date: 1st JUN 2017 Received receipts in hand by 8th JUN Receipt #: LIN1719050XXX (H1B) and LIN1719050XXX (H4) Nebraska Service Center. Filed in regular category Approval Notice date: 16th AUG 2017 Received H4 Approval notice to home by 21st AUG 2017. This is when I got first sense that H1 might be approved too. Received H1B Approval notice to Employer by 23rd AUG 2017. Waiting to get that in hand. Given 2.5 years of validity. USCIS site has not updated the statuses yet. No even email/sms update. I am contractor working for Service based company(Direct employee), to a Manufacturing client(contractor). Not sure if client letter is attached while filing extension. Without I-140 approval #, within 6 years cap.
