so your're saying you didnt get any sort of acknowledgment for the RFER? I'm just wondering if there's a way we could confirm....USPS says its delivered.

thanks for taking time to reply...for the interviews before I went back to visit them...they kept asking when I was gonna come back..and when the same was asked after I visited, my mom replied saying yes I came back and visited etc...the officer still said U guys do not qualify for US visitor's visa. Matter of fact ...my sister whos here had a complicated pregnancy ...for which my parents had applied and got rejected..and when my mom asked why they said they did not send their daughter to the US so they're not bound to give a visa for that reason...that really hurt us
first few time my father sponsored...last one I sponsored..after their last rejection I invited my mother in law for the same baby arrival invite and she got approved..came over ..stayed 6 mos and left..
we re trying for one last time soon...the senator will fax the consulate..p.s I ve send numerous emails to the embassy and fb messages to the consular chief, and a past ambassador..seems like the messages were seen ( i saw the seen receipt)...but didnt receive a reply...I simply requested them to do a deep evaluation of the scenario and go over the documents and feel free to investigate on anything...kinda hopeful but still theres been 8 rejections before.

My mom was retired during the last apply (but is involved with a social service organization)...but they've been working...my father still has a full time govt job...various part time consulting positions...and they made letters from each employers saying they would need them back after their US visit...my father even made a letter from Vice Chancellor of the University.

Their interview was normal...they've been asked the same questions all the time..how many children?? how long are u staying? at the end rejection....we are a family of 5 ..my one sister (with her familiy) is back home...two of us are here...all are married and settled..one of the key things is ..they ask "when is your son returning?"...I'm on h1 right now and awaiting my gc..im thinking may be my change in status could do some different? idk....from back in the days when my mom used to say during the interview that they want to go visit their son..the consular said they didnt send me here so theyre not obliged to grant them visa..and kept asking when was i coming back..now that was when i was in F1...i went back twice after being on h1...since they asked when i would come back..parents rejected last year also during my kid's birth...m not sure what it is..its really frustrating...not theyre both 60 plus..they re old..there isnt a reason for them to overstay here..

Topic: Parents Visitor’s visa rejected 8 times so fa.what could itbe

I’ve been in the U.S for 12 years now..since 2004..was here for my bachelor’s. First time my parents tried in 2005 and got rejected…and recently last year in 2015 during my kid’s birth….my parents are well established and renowned professors back home…they are qualified professionally, socially, economically to come to the US....but now it’s been 8 rejections..including my graduation, new child birth, etc.

Now I am contacting a Senator and they’ve agreed to help..meaning they said they will fax the consulate before my parent’s interview making a request to have the scenario examined thoroughly. I sent all my parents documents to the Senator’s office..such as an award from the president from India and multiple others…even senator’s office was surprised on the consulate not providing visa..I’m trying to see if anyone here has been through the same situation and the senator’s request has helped….I’ve done some research and seen mixed reactions.

hey thanks for the response..I m working w/ an attorney as well..but its the same docs needed as USICS wants...
my query is...the birth cert made by the municipal office basically is made on the office's pad with proper stamp and signature...and is titled birth certificate...and is only in English...it looks more as a letter but has all the details...I even sent the original to USCIS...not sure why it didnt work..and what reasons do u think are proper? and the reason can be included in the affidavit right?

Topic: I 485 RFE: Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate

thanks for the response...I have my school records..but USCIS is looking for school records w/ applicants place of births, parents name, along w/ the DOB. Usually school certs have DOBs and may be place of birth but NOT parent's names...will a school without parents names work? or will one with only DOB and applicants name work?
