Topic: Off topic: Time to sell house??

House price is also falling due to new tax rules. You can’t deduct all of property tax and state tax. This will specially hit ca and nj
In general house price in nj is estimated to be down 10% with new tax rules and nothing to do with h1b

Topic: EAD vs H1b continuing

//
HOWEVER, my lawyer (who belongs to the most famous immigration law firm) suggested to keep H1b as a must and EAD as an optional
//

because lawyer get fat fees to get h1 paperwork and rfe done.
EAD you can apply yourself

Topic: h1b extension denial

Denials are mostly for non speciality occupation and even education in different field combined with low level salary .Any full time can be denied if he is not doing speciality occupation . It’s notjing to do wit consulting or fulltime. They are going by job description not company where you work

//
Oh, and I assume you have heard of Google???
Took me all of 2 seconds: http://immigration.findlaw.com/citizenship/can-...
https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/Po...

OP is asking about H1b cap exemp in error. do you have a link to prove it can be cancelled and out of status retroactively once approved in error?.

Topic: Could approve H1B be revoked if Cap exempt violation detected?

if you dont have concrete answer then stop blaberring around. wither provide concrete USCIS links or dont give useless advice to scare people

// I am a naturalized citizen who didn't lie on any application//
you already did lot of crime earlier for spreading false rumour all around which you did not mention in your petiton. it has 20-30 points in the application and you said no to everyhitng . They can check you petition for misinterpretation and your naturalization can be cancelled and deport you.

Topic: H1b extension denied after RFE

They are going by job description . Uscis officer is not convinced the job requires a bachelor degree . It does not matter if you have PHD. I would blame the attorney handling this if this denial is indeed for this reason. may be not enough strong documentation for RFE provided.

Topic: New H1B Visa Guidelines and enforcements

I feel attorneys in consultancy and outsource companies are under more pressure to get h1b approved as other their prime source of income for company. They are good in that
But in full time employee with American firms the attorney may not go extra mile to fight for the case . They won't exaggerate stuff to just it approved.
Its my personal opinion I might be wrong

You have a big heart to keep us all updated inspite of your personal situation. Not many people give bad news on forums with details.. I wish all your visa issues get sorted out soon and you are back.

Topic: Second H1 transfer after First H1 Transfer approved

//
Folks like you bring a bad rap to every one else. And genuine candidates don't get sponsorship because employers stop wasting time. Eventually they paint a broad brush, saying indians on h1b cannot be trusted for their word.
//

What when companies layoff or end contract in 2-3 months due to budget issue when they promised long project . This is capitalist country and no issue taking better opportunity.

Topic: When PD FEB-2010 / EB2I will be current again?

With Current situation of not expecting any spillover from other category (highly likely) and no rule change. It can be in 2025-2030. 2008 itself will take take 2-3 years more looking at the pending inventory.

Those who missed the stock market boom can always short it now and ride it down. Lots of inflated junk assets in market which can go down. Just another perspective (not investing)
