Topic: Wife greencard holder pregnant in india not able to travel

Visit some other doctor(s) and let them do the blood work and find out what his/her opinion is.

If she is less than 5 months pregnant, It would be wise to travel and be here in US to have the baby as it would reduce a lot of legal issues in the future.

Last but not the least, you know how her health is and how she can handle any issues. Based on doctor(s) opinion, make a decision. Sooner the better. Do you have insurance that cover pregnancy?

Topic: Can we file for I485 without the priority date being current?

There is a advocacy going on that would help us. Like who have approved i-140 but cannot file I485 as the PD are not current. See the link below...it would be beneficial if many people can join this and we can change our fate our self instead of waiting for a change in law

Pass on to your friends... the more people join.. the sooner we get a chance to alleviate our problems....(This is not for any advertisement)

Topic: Extrapolation of PERM Data

From looking at the current approval data, extrapolation probability was at 75-90% & most of May PERM applications will be approved sooner with the error percentage was between +10-25 %

Topic: PERM Approval Notification.

Does any one know how the Attorneys get know about the PERM approval of an application?

Ex: Do they get an email notification, when approved? or Do they have to log in to the website(www.plc.doleta.gov) to check whether the PERM application is approved?

Any insight would be appreciated

Topic: Extrapolation of PERM Data

You may be right. But the data is just an statistical inference (assumption) based on the trend of previous processing time. This would vary based on how much of a history of data is taken into account for inference purpose... this might not the be same for all the filed application. But on looking at the current data so far, I would say the probability of the inference would be @ 50%. Hence I put a Note on my initial posting as below.

Note: Do not use this for any decisions as the PERM approval is based on various criteria that I may not be aware off

Topic: Extrapolation of PERM Data

All,

I thought to infer something from the available data from WWW.TRACKITT.COM website and to do some statistical inference of what might be the approval timing in the future.

From Dec 08 Extrapolation - Data from Dec 2008 to Jan 2010 is used to infer what might be possible approval timing for the PERM applications submitted in Feb 2010 to May 2010(partial data for May)

MMM/YY Avg. approval time

Dec-08 10
Jan-09 10
Feb-09 10.2
Mar-09 10.2
Apr-09 9.9
May-09 9.6
Jun-09 9.1
Jul-09 8
Aug-09 7.5
Sep-09 6.7
Oct-09 5.6
Nov-09 5.6
Dec-09 5
Jan-10 4.2

(Multiply Avg. approval time by 30.5 to get tentative PERM processing & approval timing)

Feb-10 4.223076923
Mar-10 3.723296703
Apr-10 3.223516484
May-10 2.723736264

From Jul 2009 Extrapolation

MMM/YY Avg. approval time

If you have any questions, I would be happy to discuss.
