Myself, my wife and my Son all three of us received QSW certificate on Decmeber 6th 2013 and PR is in final stage.
We had a daughter on January 1st, 2015. We added her to Federal application as soon as we received birth certificate. Federal officer suggested to apply QSW certificate for my daughter ASAP so that they can grant us PR.

I have called Quebec Immigration and asked what documents need to be submitted. Following documents have been submitted:

1) Change to the Application for a selection certificate - A-0520-MA

• a certified true copy of the original act of birth of the child;
• a passport-sized photo;
• the Contract respecting financial self-sufficiency (A-0522-OA), up to date;
• payment of processing fees (in Canadian currency).

Got an reply from Quebec Immigration in February mid that documents in below link has to be submitted prior to 18 May 2015.

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/for...

Main forms

1)Application for Selection Certificate – Skilled Worker – Principal applicant, spouse or de facto spouse (A-1520-AA) (Dynamic PDF 687 Kb)

We have already received QSW certificates. This application is to apply QSW cetificate and mentioned only for adults. My daughters is 2 months old. Do I need to send this application?

2)Documents submitted in support of the Application for Selection Certificate (A-1520-AA)
These documents already sent during our primary application. Do we need to send them?

3) Financial self-sufficiency contract (A-0522-OA)
I have already sent this. Do I need to send it again?

4) Declaration by spouse or de facto spouse
This has been already sent during our primary application. Do I need to send them again?

This process is so confusing. We don't have choice to send emails to Quebec immigration. When I contact them they are not in a position to explain the process.

Appreciate if some one can help me....

Hi am Sabiha,

well really what you explain and what they reply is very confusing, well my situation though not altogher same like yours, however i just got my daughter last year, i am at the primary stage of my application, have not yet received my csq, so my lawyer just advice me to fill and submit the form, change in application for csq, together wiz all the relevant documents u mentioned above in respect of my child.

If u are applying through a lawyer then better to ask him to advice u what to do. I dont knw if this might help, but once i just mail directly to the Quebec immigration Authority to ask what should i do to include my child in the application process, they got the impression that i have already receive my csq and what they advice me was to send my csq together with the change in application for and relevent documents regarding my child so that they can send me her csq too ansd by the way i am from mauritius and i applied through the Campbell Cohen law firm in Canada

To GCSSP:

Hello Sir,

I am in a same situation like you. Please help me to get CSQ. Myself, my wife and my daughter all three of us received QSW certificate on December 2014 and we have a new born on April 2015. To add her to Federal application, i have to obtain CSQ for my second daughter. So do please let me know the information regarding the documents needed to submit to Quebec to obtain CSQ for my second daughter. I would be grateful. Thank you.

Hello,

I am in a similar situation. Just got csq but I am expecting a baby soon.

Could you please advise what docs exactly should be sent for csq update?

Is it the Change to an application for a selection certificate A-0520-MA? Including all the docs mentioned for child update only?

Also should I send back the csq's that I have already received?

Thanks in advance

MIDI tells you that though they do not have a processing time for same, its on a first come first serve basis, it might take 1- 6 month to process same. I had to undergo the same process in February and man...I must tell you that was hell, CSQ was issued in July i got the CSQ of my daughter in August.to what one the agent explained to me If its been quite some time you received your CSQ(mine was issued in 2013), it might take some time as they have to get the physical file from the archiving office(which is some other location than MIDI), re-verify the file and issue.

I suggest you do both CSQ part and PR part in parallel. Then once you receive the CSQ you submit same. thats what I did, while awaiting CSQ, i got her MR and completed all the PR part. Now awaiting PR. once you link your application online, all should be quick for submitting your document, since its electronic.Processing fee for your child should be done online. they do not accept the payment form which you send with initial application.hope this answers your question.

Thanks for your reply. I got my CSQ in August 2017 and applied CSQ for my son within two weeks, in August itself. Hopefully the file is still easily available and processed quickly.

I found this answer very helpful as I am going through the same situation.
My concern is that; The CSQ application for my baby is in the process. Parallelly I want to apply for PR.
So, Should I mention my dependent child in CIC as non-accompanying as he has no CSQ yet?
If I mention him as accompanying child, shouldn't I include CSQ at the time of application?
Thanks!

to SAMJI1:

I suggest you apply for your PR(not to cause any delays in the processing as both would be processing in parallel).As when you apply PR, the documents for your baby is all available except for CSQ.
In the bundle of documents being sent for PR application do include a letter specifying the CSQ of your child is currently being processed by MIDI.
Hence 2 dependents and their processing fees.
Once you receive the CSQ you upload online as well as send them a copy by email to the visa office.
Hope this answers your question.
